David AKA Dave “Fingers” Vasquez was born in NYC to Puerto Rican parents and moved from the Big Apple to Long Island at a young age. He got his first drum set at the age of 6 and eventually turned his interest to guitar. At the age of 12, he joined his first band in junior high school. He moved to South Florida in 2004 and began playing gigs as a solo acoustic guitarist. At one point, Dave played every weekend for 3 years straight! You name it - he's played it…having been in multiple bands in genres including classic rock, Southern rock, funk, pop, disco and country. One of his music career highlights was opening for Molly Hatchet. Dave says “having a diverse musical background has added to my skills and enables me to bring that experience to the Doctor My Eyes band.”
Jay Wood has been playing professionally for over 40 years, unless you want to include banging on pots and pans with wooden spoons at two years old. He attended the University of North Texas Jazz studies program, and has played in a variety of different bands from pop, country, blues, New Orleans funk, and Rock. Within all his music travels, he has had the opportunity to open for such acts as Living Colour, the Charlie Daniels Band, Brett Michaels, Parmalee, High Valley, Trace Adkins, Dwight Yoakam, and various other national acts. He has recently relocated from Connecticut to Delray Beach, Florida where he currently plays with country artist Tim Charron, the Allman Brothers tribute band “Brothers After All”, the Jackson Browne tribute band “Doctor My Eyes”, country duo Juna & Joey, along with a variety of other South Florida-based bands and solo artists.
"I began playing guitar at age 14. When I started college someone gave me a pedal steel and I discovered I had an aptitude for it. I played in bands around Michigan and even took a class in studio recording. I played on some albums of local artists. In '77, I met Capitol recording artist Larry Ballard. We toured around promoting his latest album. A great songwriter he was. After moving to Kansas City I joined the house band at the KC Opry. It was a wonderful show with new guests every week. My move to FL has allowed me to meet lots of great new musicians and friends."
Cisco Colet discovered his love for music at a young age, picking up the guitar and never looking back. He's been a part of various bands over the years, honing his craft and delighting audiences with his soulful playing.
His musical journey took him to London during the mid 90s playing the vibrant music scene. In recent years he's spent time in the studio writing and producing songs for other artists.
For Cisco, music is his passion. Whether he's strumming in the studio or playing live, his dedication to creating and sharing music shines through.
Tom West has been playing drums, percussion, congas and performing as a vocalist since 1971. He has backed and sung with various artists including Gregg Allman, The Coasters, The Inkspots, Willie Nelson, Lou Rawls, and The Shirelles. Tom is proud to be asked to be a part of this new Jackson Browne tribute.
